The Inkwell Awards is a non-profit organization that presents an annual competition, the JOE SINNOTT INKING CHALLENGE. This year I had the honor to create the cover art for their book. Joltin' Joe Sinnott is my good friend and inspiration. His artwork in TREASURE CHEST COMICS and JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY influenced my choice as a young lad to become a comic book artist. The original art was sold on ebay, with the proceeds going to charity.
The original art is signed by me and signed by Joltin' Joe himself! Click on the center picture to link to the auction!

YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS: the Myth of Emily Morgan
"A mighty fun and entertaining old timey graphic novel."
The SF Site Featured Review
"This book is excellent for teaching children Texas history. This book is for general audience,
but the children will really like it as it is like reading a comic book. The full color illustrations by Joe Orsak are very nicely done and he is an excellent artist/illustrator. This book has an "EXCELLENT +" rating."
